Lighting!! Christmas Lights,
Decorative Lights, Seasonal Lights, and more!!
In our never ending goal to provide our clients
with the most in everything "outdoor," Greco Landscaping made a huge financial
commitment by signing on as a Bright Ideas Decorating distributor. Last year,
our first year in the lighting arena, we were fortunate to hang over 100,000
lights! Click on the Brite Ideas link to the left for more information and
examples of these wonderful lights.
LED Lighting!
Long lasting and energy
efficient LED lights shine with gorgeous color and incredible intensity for more
than 50,000 hours indoor or outdoor.
LED is the lighting of the future as they
consume 90% LESS electricity than standard incandescent bulbs. Another advantage
to LED's are the service hours. Incandescent bulbs traditionally burn out after
about 3,000 hours where as the LED's last 30,000 to 50,000 hours! One of our
customers is using 250 bulbs to outline the ornamental thatched roof of their
building. It will cost them around $6 dollars a month as opposed to $54 in the
incandescent bubs previously installed!!
LED lighting is is an eye-catcher with many
colors and styles available. How would you like to promote your business without
spending a fortune on print, radio or cable TV adds?
LED lighting is the sophisticated approach to
attraction without promotion.
A
Little History...
Our first contract in our lighting endeavor was more of an emotional one
than a financial one. We were chosen to provide the Karen Ann Quinlan
Memorial Tree with a "sprucing-up."
Meeting with Special Events coordinator
Jennifer Smith on a cold rainy after noon in last November, we saw that the
Tree of Lights, located in Milford, Pennsylvania, was in dire straights.
Our General Manager, Mike Patire, took on the
awesome responsibility of pruning, edging, landscaping, and removing the
existing incandescent lighting and fixtures. After Mike finished with the job of
preparing the tree, he then painstakingly installed over 2,100.
Here is the letter from
Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice before the project began:
Russ,
As a follow up to our conversation, we are thrilled to have Greco
Landscaping work with us to revive and beautify the Karen Ann Quinlan
Hospice Lights of Life Tree in Milford’s Memorial Park. After carefully
reviewing your proposals, we have selected the package that incorporates the
landscaping, pruning, removal of lights along with the 2,100 LED
mini-lights.
Russ, I thank you and Greco Landscaping for approaching this very special
project with the same enthusiasm that we and many Pike County families have
about this meaningful memorial tree.
