While in high school, Rick majored in horticulture and natural resources. After graduating he was employed by a local garden center, and then was employed by a local landscaper/ excavator where he fine tuned his skills and was promoted to foreman. In 1980 when Rick made the decision to start his own business, he started with just a push-mower, pickup truck, some hand-tools and a lot of determination and hard work. Today his company has grown to consist of a fleet of vehicles, various machines, and a brand new facility. Rick contributes his companies’ success to a knowledgeable team of dedicated employees who are committed to excellence, and to all his customers who took a chance on a young man.
