Company History

Now located in Hardyston, New Jersey, Greco Lawn Service and Landscaping is owned and operated by Richard Greco. His company has been servicing properties in the Sparta area for almost 30 years. With continued education in their field for the firm’s employees, and their prompt and courteous customer service, Greco Lawn Service and Landscaping has been able to distinguish themselves from their competitors. This has allowed them to expand their services to many towns located in Sussex County, which includes customers who have been with the company for more than twenty years.

While in high school, Rick majored in horticulture and natural resources. After graduating he was employed by a local garden center, and then was employed by a local landscaper/ excavator where he fine tuned his skills and was promoted to foreman. In 1980 when Rick made the decision to start his own business, he started with just a push-mower, pickup truck, some hand-tools and a lot of determination and hard work. Today his company has grown to consist of a fleet of vehicles, various machines, and a brand new facility. Rick contributes his companies’ success to a knowledgeable team of dedicated employees who are committed to excellence, and to all his customers who took a chance on a young man.
